What is Hormone Yoga
and how can it benefit YOU?

Hormone yoga is a set of specific exercises designed to boost and balance your hormones, it was designed for women in menopause but also benefits many other hormonal imbalances. It is ideal for women over 35 who are experiencing perimenopause or menopause symptoms.


Unlike other yoga classes, there is no downward-facing dog, no headstands and no balancing on arms or shoulders which means it can be a great practice for someone completely new to yoga or who is not flexible and feels that normal yoga is not for them. It's a mostly seated or lying down practice where we use dynamic breathing to balance and boost the endocrine glands.


We focus on four main hormone glands; the thyroid which controls weight and metabolism, the ovaries where our sex hormones are created, the pituitary gland - the master gland which is key for the regulation of all hormones and balancing the adrenals to balance stress. We use visualisation to focus on the glands working optimally.

*Hormone yoga is NOT for everyone. 

You cannot practise if you have a history of any oestrogen-related cancer. You cannot practise if you are pregnant, you cannot practise if you have severe endometriosis or large fibroids because the practice is designed to boost healthy oestrogen in the body. If you are working with a hormonal condition please consult your doctor before starting.


For Hormone yoga to work it must be practised 3-4 times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes and all sessions must include warm-up main asana yoga nidra and anti-stress.
